Fried Shrimp

Ingredients

  • 2 lb Shrimp
  • 1/3 Bag Hooters Wing Breading
  • Canola Oil

Directions

  1. Peel and devein the shrimp, leaving the tails on. Pat dry with paper towels.
  2. Pour canola oil into a heavy pot or deep skillet to a depth of about 2 inches. Heat to 375°F.
  3. Place the Hooters wing breading in a shallow dish. Dredge each shrimp in the breading, pressing to coat evenly.
  4. Fry the shrimp in batches for 2-3 minutes until golden brown and cooked through. Do not overcrowd the pot.
  5. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on a wire rack or paper towels. Serve immediately.
